unser familiär geführtes hostel verfügt natürlich über mehrbettzimmer, aber auch über doppelzimmer uns "special-romms" (designzimmer).
bei inanspruchnahme unseres "all-you-can-eat"-frühstücks gibt es den besten frühstückskaffee in garmisch-partenkirchen. abends trifft man sich in unserer bar oder der gemütlichen lounge.
das hostel ist sehr ruhig in einer seitenstraße an der partnach gelegen.
wir liegen nur 3 Gehminuten von bahnhof und bushaltestelle entfernt. zu fuß sind z.b. das olympia eissportzentrum und das alpspitz wellenbad bequem in ca. 10 minuten erreichbar.
auch skifahrer, snowboarder sonstige wintersportfans und wander- oder kletterfreaks sind bei uns nicht auf ein auto angewiesen. direkt vor dem hostel beginnt der fussweg entlang der partnach zum skistadion, zum eckbauergebiet, zur partnachklamm und zum hausberggebiet.
die zugspitzbahn - das tor zum ski- und snowboardparadies erreicht man in nur 5 minuten zu fuss. auch der skibus in das classic-gebiet ist schnell erreicht.
viele restaurants, bars, kneipen und diskos sind locker ohne bahn, bus oder auto erreichbar.

The hostel 2962 is situated very quietly in a by-street next to the river “partnach”. With its central position the hostel 2962 ist the perfect place for your stay in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
You only have to walk about 2 to 3 minutes to get to the train-station and the bus stop. The Olympia Ice Sports Center and the Alpspitz-Swimmingpool are comfortable attainable by foot.
You want to hike in the mountains? You want to go skiing or snowboarding? You don’t need a car!
Directly in front of the hostel 2962 the beautiful footpath along the river Partnach starts and leads you to the Olympic Ski Stadium, the Eckbauer-Mountain, the Partnach-Gorch and the Hausberg-Mountain. The Zugspitz-Railway up tho Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze with 2962 meters is only 4 minutes to walk!
A multiplicity of bavarian an international restaurants, bars, nightclubs etc. are just next to the hostel.
The hostel 2962 is a nice family-owned place to meet people from all over the world. At our small bar or in the lounge you can spend (or start) your evenings. Your day starts (if you want) with our all-you-can-eat-breakfast and the best coffee for breakfast you can find in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
You can stay in one of our dorm-beds, in a more comfortable double-rooms or in one of our special-rooms - it's your decision.
The hostel 2962 is the first and only hostel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
